The Human Nations

Humans are, above all else, adaptable. Their ingenuity and stubborn methods of survival have enabled them to spread across the cosmos with ease, becoming the most common folk in both Kerios and Ithuan. As Zek’s precious creations, their potential knows no limit. Humanity’s diversity has also given rise to nine nations with varying levels of power and ways of life. Though they may fight amongst themselves more often than not, they have a knack for banding together when they need to most.

A massive nation in the far east of Ithuan, this feudal and hierarchal society has evolved around the supernatural happenings in their land. Despite this, they are a powerful and self sufficient people with a nation full of much-contested resources. Their militaristic might is also well-known and feared throughout Ithuan.

Dulatica is the second most northern region of mainland Ithuan, a key battle ground for the Spirit War, and home to the largest populations of humans and elves on their planet. Over time, they have become Ithuan’s primary center of trade and magical exploration and education, boasting incredible scholars and mages.

The northernmost continent of Ithuan, a divine realm brought into the mortal worlds during war, Gorgabad is the home of warriors, the combative elite of humankind. Rough climate and severe culture govern these lands under Lord Nazal’s control, in worship of Gothrag. The Tower of Gorgabad looms over all, casting its dark shadow over all.

One of three original human kingdoms in Kerios, the nation of Austrum is one best known for its vast tracts of farmland over the southern plains. From golden seas of wheat, to orchards bearing fruit that would rival gemstones in vibrance, Austrum had always been considered the planet’s breadbasket, until it was struck down.

A seafarer’s paradise, the West Isles are a hub of trade and culture, known for their far reaching trade routes. There are a number of different groups considered native to the Isles, each with slightly varied dialects, traditions, and local mythos, but they are all united by their way of life and common values of family and security.

 

The nation of Lithul is made up of hardy folk, living off the land and abiding by superstitious practices and forms of worship toward the Gods, primarily Lith. Nomads, hunters, and refugees alike flock to the verdant forests and coastal plains Lithul has to offer, despite the ruins of a lost elven civilization dotting the landscape.

One of three original human kingdoms in Kerios, Terran’dolm is the land of innovation driven by survival. Lush greenery has overtaken the once-populous kingdom, while the capitalist stratocracy that remains is held aloft by mysterious forces within their technologic city-states. Faced with challenges never before seen, they endure.
